| I'll try to be brief. But every build should have a budget. This build is for a street car primarily. We have two options due to what's been budgeted. Option #1 You own Sport 550 turbos already. You are building the engine now and would like to do CP pistons, Pauter rods, JWT 500 cams, 1mm oversized valves, etc. You also have 2.5" intercoolers/piping/TB's in the budget. Option #2 You sell the Sport 550 turbos and get Sport 700's instead. You have the same exact engine build. But now because of the turbo upgrade, you don't feel like spending extra money on the 2.5" intake mods. It just doesn't fit in the budget for the build if you go with the Sport 700 turbos. The cost of #1 vs. #2 is close. #1 will net out about $800 or so more than option #2 after selling used parts. But both are in the budget. What would twinturbo.net do? I'm going to keep my thoughts to myself for now other than this. I'm really not sure how the 2.5" stacks up when you consider "bang for the buck". I want to know what YOU would do and why? Nothing like a good debate! And if you argue with dyno results or 1/4 mile results (trap speeds especially), that could add some flavor! :-) And if you have firsthand experience, that's even better!
